What we aim for
This site is built to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the standard US accessibility law is measured against. We have not paid an outside firm to certify it, and we would rather say that plainly than display a badge that does not mean anything.
What has been checked
Every page is tested automatically on each build for colour contrast against the real rendered background, heading order, form labels, image alt text, landmarks, link text, duplicate ids, and sideways scrolling down to a 320 pixel screen.
Text can be resized to 200% and the page reflows rather than clipping. The hero video is muted, carries no speech, and stops for anyone whose device asks for reduced motion.
What a machine cannot check
Some things need a person, and we say so rather than implying otherwise: whether each image description is actually useful, whether the tab order matches what you see, and whether the whole buying path works using only a keyboard. We test these by hand and we are not finished for good — a site changes, and so does this.
Checkout
Payment is taken by Shopify on their own pages. Their accessibility is theirs to state, not ours, and we link to it rather than speak for them.
If something does not work
Email daisysurfsupport@gmail.com and tell us what happened and what you were using. Alex reads these herself. We will reply within 7 business days, and if something is broken we will say when it will be fixed.
